H ave you ever wondered about why your best friend, who happens to be skinny, can eat three helpings of food without gaining weight, while you so much as look at what he or she is eating and you gain two pounds?
Or why one person is short and fat, another tall and thin, and yet another highly muscular? Or why you have a big nose while your sister or brother has a small one? Why one person has long, straight, silky hair and another has curly, short, coarse hair? Why we have different "slopfactors?" (a concept Dr. Sears has postulated in The Zone). Why do we all have different body odors, intelligence quotients (IQ's), and personalities?
The reason is because we are all unique—inside and out, physically and chemically, intellectually and psychologically.
